Default Can the rims on a 07 Honda Civic LX be changed?

i have 07 honda civic LX and the rims arent that appealing to me anymore. how can i change them to look like the rims of a 07 honda civic EX model? ( the one that looks like a starfish). should i take it to my honda dealer? or should i just go to a shop that specializes in rims?and how much do you think it would cost to change all 4 wheels?

Your best bet would be neither. Check around, ebay, online retailers, etc. and buy the rims. Then you can take them anywhere that does any kind of auto work and have your tires changed. The dealer will overcharge you by an incredible amount.

Your LX has 15" steel rims with 16" wheel covers (hubcaps). I would not try and paint the steelies to try to look like the EX's 16" 5 spoke rims. Here are a few sites that have Honda rims and aftermarket ones as well: http://www.hondawheelshop.com/index.php?cPath=7_122_128 , http://www.handaaccessories.com/civext06.html (you would have to buy tires separately), http://search.ebay.com/16-alloy-civi...dZp1638Q2em120 , http://www.hubcaphaven.com/civic_wheels.htm , http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/resul...All&sort=Brand . I think it would cost anywhere from $900 and up with Honda rims and good tires, or as low as $650 for aftermarket rims and decent tires. Hope this helps, and good luck!
