Does anyone know how to set the doors to lock when the car is in drive/egnition starts on the 2008 Honda Pilot? All of my other cars have done this and it is very frustrating that this one does not. I do not think that the manual addresses this problem, but my sister has a CRV and said that she was able to set hers by putting the car in neutral and hitting a few buttons? Help?

The answer is in your Quick Start Guide. It's the little flip book you got at delivery along with the other literature about your Pilot. Check in the section that pertains to windows/locks. There are several ways to program the locks. Just pick the one you like and follow the directions. I just delivered a 2008 Pilot today and programmed the locks for the couple myself.

Get in car and shut the doorturn key to position 2 you can see the marks near the ignition switch turn off radio so you can hearpush the button to lock the doorshold till you hear a click noise, about 5-10 seconds after the doors lockturn ignition key to off position and remove keyThis setting should lock all doors at 9mph and unlock driver door when put into park.

i got m 2008 honda pilot too. yes i notice the door doesn't automatic lock when you start the car and automatic unlock when you take the key out. i didn't know i could set the door locks. thank you for this question it will help me too.
