Default H22 Swap Question?

I have a 95 accord lx. I was planning on doing the H22 swap but which year of the H22 is compatible with my car? And does anyone know any reliable places to purchase it? What is a decent price for the H22, and the LSD tranny package? Besides the parts that come with the swap, what other mechanical parts must be changed? (exhaust, intake etc) Thanks So Much

You'll want a '92-'95 (or even '96 if it's a JDM engine) H22A.http://www.hmotorsonline.com is well known for it's reliability and clean engines. You will probably find places that sell them cheaper, but "you get what you pay for". You'll need an exhaust manifold, because the stock Accord one won't work. You'll also need a cat because the Prelude manifold won't mate up to the stock Accord one.If you're doing a swap for performance, you might as well get an aftermarket intake as well. You don't have to go with an expensive one, a cheap one from ebay and a K&N filter will be good enough. You're also going to have to modify the Prelude driver's side engine mount, or buy an aftermarket one from some place like Hasport. The stock Accord mount doesn't work, and the stock Prelude H22A one is too wide, so it needs to be shaved down enough to fit into the bracket. The part that needs to be shaved down is the metal where the bolt goes through. Here's some more info on the swap, including wiring and parts lists:http://www.accordinglydone.com/forum...ad.php?t=61998
