its age? When I stop at red light and start with other vehicles on green light my car dosent move fast and its drives others behind me crazzy. Is this poor strength because of its age? and if so how can it be rectified without selling it. Do you think the engine has become week or the transmission could be at fault? it has 160,000 miles on it. Gives a great Milage. 32 plus.

it could be a variety of reasons1) different engines under similar looking models2) poor air flow ratio, causing power loss3) dirty fuel line, causing power loss4) high friction from old parts, drivetrain etc...too much friction and power loss before power is passed from engine to wheels5) old clutch with slippage6) exhaust cracked, lack of back pressure = lower torque

well i dont think its because of its age because all honda civics have 1.5 or 1.6 L engines and i dont think .1L is going to make that much difference. it could be because of low air flow or maybe you just need a good clean and tune up, and there are a few other things it could be but those are the main things. is it doing anything else like ummm.... bad idal or anything like that? hope this helps ~BEN~
