Default Civic's Low maintenance: what's better: biodiesel or hybrid?

Investing in one technology with low maintenance but with green outcome.

It depends on where you get your biodiesel. Making bioD can be more destructive than burning standard gas, or if produced responsibly, much better. A "regular" deisel motor is simpler than the hybrid powertrain, and the issue of battery disposal and/or recycle is not clearly resolved, so if you know you can get responsibly made biodiesell I would go with that.
