If it hasn't got any serious damage, and is even just relatively well-maintained, that's a FANTASTIC deal. Jump on that.edit: Timing belt is due soon, though. (I think that's a 100k mile item...and this is NOT OPTIONAL, IT MUST BE DONE.) Budget like 5 or 600 bucks for that. More if you have them replace everything that can be replaced along with a timing belt and water pump.

That's about average for a 97 with almost 100k on it. With those miles, be prepared to pay a lot for repairs soon. Honda recommends certain maintenance items be done at 100K, like timing belt change, trans fluid change, etc. You can also expect many normal wear replacements needed just after 100k, like a radiator, cv boots, rear brakes, etc. You may expect to spend at least 1800 on repairs shortly. Honda repairs are expensive.
