Excellent car -- reliable, dependable, good on mileage, you can easily get 300,000 maintenance-free wear

Can't say any more then the person above. As long as it still runs with no problems keep it maintained it will last 300,000 easy or forever.

Good car, I've already had a 95 and 04 Accord. They are generally quite reliable, but not faultless. Check the mileage, of you are in the 90,000 or above range, make sure that the timing belt has been replaced. If not, go ahead and budget for that. A timing belt failure can be *fatal* to the car. Also, go ahead and change the transmission oil. These are often overlooked maintenance items that lead to a long life for the Accord.
