Default Accord LX or Civic EX?

My parents are going to buy a new honda as a trade-in, and I was wondering whic would be better, the 2008 accord LX(no v-6) or the 2008 civic EX? We are looking for good quality, passing power, and fastest 0-60 time. I am just 13 right now but this will be my car in 3 years, and I want to know the fastest of the two because i might race with my friends.

If you are going to race the car with the factory parts get the accord. If you are going to customize the car and race it then get the Civic. The Civic EX is the best choice. =]
