Default help!!! i am think about buyin a prelude but worried i might be buying a please!!!!

hey everyone i am checkin out a 97 Prelude for sale, and the car cosmeticly is fine, but the only thing wrong with it is that it has no exhust (no big deal) and that the car smokes from the engine bay and exhust, if i do recall the color of the smoke was grey-ish. and the guy said when he drove it around the car smoked at start up but once it warmed up it went away, but i test drove it and it didn't go away, the car has 167k on the ticker. but the guy only wants 4 grand for it. my question is do you think that i should get it? the car drives fine, but the smoke really concerns me.i think i am going to swap the engine when i get some extra cash. but idk what to do....any ideas what the issue is? am i lookin at a simple valvue job....or a head gagsket!!! let me know your thoughts i really could use them
