Default Honda Del Sol engine swap. Advice please.?

Hey i'm looking to make my d16 94 Del Sol SI into a pretty quick street car via an engine swap. any advice? i'm looking for the most cost effecient swap set up i can get ahold of. B16 or B18 is what i'm thinking right now. what all do i need to change out? axles? etc. any help would be appreciated.

The B18C1 (GS-R), is definitely the best bang for the buck. More torque than the B16A, so it will be a better engine to work off of if you plan on future modifications. But for any B-series engine you'll need a B-series driver's side mount that matches to the mount bracket attached to the engine (either a 2-bolt or 3-bolt mount), B-series axles, Del Sol VTEC shiftlinkage, and obviously the correct ECU and transmission as well.

B series wise that is. and as previously stated you have to get the tranny right mounts ecu shift linkage ect.

my first choice would be to leave your sohc in there... fill it with some weisco pistons and eagle rods, boost it and have a blast.or swap in the b16 del sol trans, mounts, axles, shift linkage.. buy an h2b adapter and put an h22 on the b16 trans... with the h22 ecu.or straight gsr swap with an itr trans..

Do a B18C1 swap. The B16A swaps are better in the 89-91 Civic's. For your B series swap you'll need transmission, ECU, B series axle, motor mounts, & shift linkage.
