Default f22a1 question?

today i got a valve cover gasket for my accord and on the package it says f22a and i was wondering if that ment it would fit on a f22a1 i sure it will since there is f22a4 in the same spot as that first one so in short is f22a the same as f22a1?

yes the valve cover gasket with fit any generation of the f22a series motor. The last digit is the model/generation of the motor.
