I'll do some homework. see you tomorrow.Ok what I've found is that if you don't have the voltage going to the TPS then you'll have to chase down wiring to a possible ground or computer problem. You're needing 5 volts at the sensor. It'll be easier to have a scanner to hook up to see what the TPS is at closed(10% or 5V) and fully open(90% or 4.5V). If you can't see that then comes the wire hunting. If you have a good power and ground then the thottle body will need to be replaced. Please take all volt measurement with a good meter.Good luck

You can replace the TPS without replacing the whole throttle body.
The TPS is held in by rivets instead of screws. Just use a hacksaw to carefully cut slots in the top of the rivets so you can use a screwdriver to back them out. When you put the new TPS in just use standard screws. |
