Default I heard, if I have headers and put a (hi flow exhaust) on. It will reduce the performance.?

92 Honda accord in line 4

I dont know where you heard that from- you improve the exhaust flow you probably gained anywhere from 10-20 hp

no it increases ur performance. even if you run straight piping it increases it. but its illegal here. hi flow cat = 10 thousand dollar fine here

You'll lose low end torque, but gain high end power. That's usually what happens when you reduce back pressure.

Exactly what the dude above me said, lose low end, gain high. The way to prevent that is, having your ECU remapped. On my car, I added a K&N intake, and had the ECU remapped. I gained 27hp, and 23 ft lbs of torque, starting at about 2300-3000 RPMS, and that extra power followed me up to the redline!
