I have a 99' Accord EX 4cyl with an automatic transmission and 98k miles. I am aware of the lawsuit with Honda regarding the 6th generation Accord V6 trannys, and the free replacement that accompanied that settlement. I am beginning to have problems with my transmission (hard shifting when cold, slow to down shift). I have replaced the tranny fluid two times with the special Honda ATF fluid, with no change in performance. My question is are dealers known to replace 4cyl Accord transmissions as well, under the lawsuit?

No. There was no lawsuit regarding the transmissions on the 4 cylinder version. Go to www.car-part.com and see what used transmissions are available in your area.
