Default 2008 Honda Civic Ex. V-tec or Not?

My brother just bought a 2008 honda civic ex. and how he is trying to figure out where it is a vtec or not. The sticker on the car Said so but. There is nothing on the engine. Usually honda writes v-tec right on the engine.

Yes, all honda civics are v-tec (08) in this case. I wont say it's 'weak'. tell him to check the exhaust and intake value lobes, and it would be a different shape compared with other engines.
