Default Lifespan of a Honda Civic SIR?

I am looking into buying a 2002 Honda civic SIR hatch and the car has 230 000 km on it and im wondering how long this car will last me if it is and was properly maintained.

any car can last a life time, you just have to maintain it well

I think about 350/400 Km if properly mainted and an oil change is made every bit. Maybe more depending on the condition.

If properly maintained, you can see yourself handing it down to your kids or grandkids. Properly maintaining also includes availability of parts. But today's technology can pretty much machine and fabricate parts for your Honda easily.Good luck!

After careful scrutiny... 6yrsfirst the engine goes 4..then body after a few fender benders..and voila!..a dead civic, 6 years in!

You'll probably get another 150,000 miles out of it.

You should be good for quite some time if it has 230,000 KM that is only 143,750 miles. Just keep after your oil changes and tune ups and she will last forever. My 94 civic has 350,000 miles and is still running strong.
