Every few weeks, after we've done a lot of stop & go driving (meaning we might run errands & turn the car on and off at several locations), our 1992 Honda Accord will have a little bit of trouble getting going again. It'll start up but then dies within about 2 seconds. It'll do this about 2 times, and then if we let it sit for a minute, it starts up like a champ & purs like a kitten. Any ideas about what could be causing this? It has 130,000 miles, is an automatic, recently had timing belt, water pump, and a basic tuneup. Thank you for any thoughts! No, it did not start happening after the timing belt replacement. That was about 6 months ago and this is very recent.
