i just bought this car for my kid 2 days ago im an electrician for a living so yes i know how to check a fuse,,all fuses good tail lights work,,just no dash lights for speedometer,,d,r ,n l3, l2 ,l1 all light up

The first thing you want to check is to see if the rheostat for the dash panel lighting isn't turned "off". There is a button on the instrument panel to the left of the steering wheel just below the gauge cluster corner. push the round knob in and it will pop out. when it does you can turn the knob to adjust the brightness of the dash lights.often times when the car is getting detailed the knob gets inadverteantly reset to turn the lights off.if the rheostat is turnted fully right then the problem is either with a bad rheostat switch, a burnt out bulb (there are 4 bulbs in the gauge cluster) or a bad headlamp switch.its usually the rheostat is turned down followed by one or burnt out bulbs. the combination switch for the lights would be a remote possibility as would the burnt out rheostat but anything's possiblehope that helps
