Read the VIN number through the windshield.Take the VIN number to a Honda dealer. they'llbe able to tell you if it's a real SI.......bye

Check the Vin. I think you might also be able to check a CarFax report, as well as at a dealer. They'll all show what the true model is.

pop the hood and look at the engine, real SI are twin cam with a red or black value cover on the older versions. New Si are k20 engines also twin cam also check out the vin # too.

yea. for a 92-95 civic hatchback the si has a sunroof and the other models don't. Same thing for the older models. Remember if a hatch does not have a sunroof then its not a si

All Si's have different parts on them that distinguish themselves from the other models. Check out a site like http://www.edmunds.com, other wise you're going to have to be far more specific about which year Si you're talking about, for people to give you specific things to look for. The first Si was sold in N. America in 1984, and there's only been 4 year that an Si wasn't manufactured, so there are many different models.
