If you maintain it, the Honda will last you a long time. Even if you need to do an engine swap, there will be a lot of them out there.

Very nice car, I had one new, as for how long it will last.........all comes down to how it has been maintained. I'm keeping an eye on this Question, as my daughter now wants one as a first car.

Probably about five seconds after you buy it.

Most people who in the market for a New car will not buy one that is 15 years old. You can get a much newer use car and better quality than that. You can get a 02 Mercedes, 2000 BMW and Cadillac a good sports car or SUV for under $10K that much newer.

If it was properly maintained then you should be able to squeeze another 50 to 100k out of it. Ive seen some last almost 500k and im talking modded up and riced out. Just treat it right and it will treat you right.

That American 2007 is right. Those cars can be ad for pretty cheap, but I bet that '93 Civic Si will even outlive those. Each of them (Mercedes, BMW and especially Cadillac) have reliability problems. I've seen many Civics with over 300,000 miles (482,700 kms) on their original engines. If it's well cared for, you can reach those miles relatively trouble-free. From what I know, Hondas are one of the highest quality vehicles on the road today. Those others are simply some of the highest priced vehicle brands on the market buy that doesn't make them high quality. Check this out:http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17385761/wid/11915829/

If you properly maintain it, specific parts will still need replacement. If you learn to replace as many parts as you can on your own, not only will you save lots of money but the lifespan of your Honda can last as long as you live.Good luck!
