Default How do I clean the superficial "rust" on discs right behind alloy wheel on new version Civic EX?

The round silver disc behind the wheels (I don't know what you call them). These are 5 spoke Civic EX wheels. It happens on most cars because of all the snow, sand, salt on the roads throughout the winter around here, but shows through with the 5 spoke wheels. Any suggestions to clean it off after the winter season?

That's the brake disc, and dont bother to 'clean' them -- just press your brakes and they become shiny at once, only to rust all over again overnight. Perfectly normal.

yea its completly normal and the breaks will just remove it. however if you are concerned the autoparts store sells break disk cleaner in an aurosal spray bottle for less then 5 dollars. and this will also remove the superficial rust.

this is something normal on any car if you don't drive it more often or when it rains , the water and air will create the brwnish coating.
