i just bought a 1995 civic dx coupe back in october, and it was sitting for about 5 months (the guy told me 3 weeks, i found out through a CarProof report....ps im from Canada). when i fill it, it will read full for about 250-300 kms then completely drop to about half. then will slowly go up and down from there until it needs to be filled again. i got at the tank underneath the seat, thinking i just needed to clean the floater, but i cant get the damn top off cuz there's something angled so i can't take it out? any suggestions?

also, i had to replace my dash lights and the bulbs are slightly bigger than Honda's....i replaced one from a dealership and it cost me 10 bucks! i can get a 2 pack of bulbs at Canadian Tire for like $3! they work, but they fall out all the time. and my climate control lights just wont work anymore. the unit works, so its not a fuse. any help would be great!
