i put a running obdII-2 gsr swap in my eg coupe i know it works and it is possible i just don't know what s wrong i put it with a performance intake mani but it had had a crack and a big vacuum leak so before ever driving i had to put the stock one back on now it revs at 2 grand open headers but idles up and down and when i try to push on the gas it revs but then dies out not the motor but gas its weird and complicated and frustrating has anyone had this problem i tried to drive it and i put it in first and after 3grand it cuts out and i am forced to put in second same as in third until i cant get no where????

Sounds like you jacked up your TPS(throttle position sensor) or your MAP(manifold absolute pressure) sensor during all the back and forth. A faulty TPS will cause it to idle up and down, try unplugging it and see if idle stays steady at around 3k. If your MAP sensor is bad your ecu cant tell it to run the right air/fuel ratio. Get your sensors checked out... any check engine lights?

The guy above me pretty much hit the nail on the head. Also check all vacuum hoses and try adjusting the idle control valve.
