My 2000 Honda CR-V has been one thing after another. I just had the head rebuilt, transmission changed out, and front right axle replaced. Now, there's a popping/ clicking noise when i turn left (only when accelerating) and a whirring clicking like vibration/noise when i'm driving on the interstate and my car leans to the left (say i change lanes from the left lane to the right). It is becoming more and more frequent and louder and louder. My mechanic thought it was the wheel bearing or axle, in the front left (where the noise is coming from) we tried both and the noise is still there. He also thought it was my rear differential (since it's an AWD vehicle maybe the noise was traveling up the drive shaft) we disconnected the drive shaft and the noise is still there! Any ideas???

i had the same problem with my CRV. try to look at the inner part of your CV joint. it has three(tripod) bearings. maybe one of your tripod bearing is broken. what i did was to replace the inner CV joint assembly with a HONDA ACCORD assembly. the result was so amazing. the vibrations were completely gone.
