I have a 2007 Civic Si Sedan. I wan't to upgrade the tire/wheel combination while simulaneously lowering the car. My question is this...
If I install 18" wheels with 225/40R18 tires and also install Eibach's lowering springs, does anyone have any idea whether I will run into interferance problems with the wheel wells? I threw a tape measure at it, and it sure looks close. Factory wheels are 23.8" tall. The new wheels will be 25.1" tall. The springs will lower the car 1.2" front and 1.0 inches in the rear... looks like from the factory I have 2" of fender gap in the front and not a lot more than 1" in the rear. I know people are doing this, I just don't know if they are having trouble and Eibach nor Enkie will tell me anything. Looks like it will be close... Anyone have any experiance here? Thanks. |
