Ok, here's the thing. I have an 04 Civic. My battery died. Since its late and I need my car before my local parts place opens in the morning, I headed for Wal-mart and picked up an Everstart battery. The new battery is identical in every way...except that its a mirror copy of the original. The terminals are on the opposite side and reversed. When I put the battery in as its intended with the terminals toward the engine compartment, the terminals are reversed and the cables don't have enough slack to reach. If I turn it around, I can get the cables to reach (just barely). But that puts the positive terminal right where the prop rod is supposed to rest, thus, the hood won't shut. I've check and double checked, I got the right battery. Anyone else had this problem?
