2001 Honda Civic EX A/T SOHC Vtec is it safe to swap for...?
I own a 01' Civic EX AT. I believe I have a SOHC Vtec engine, and was wondering if it would be safe to swap it for a DOHC vtec enigne?? Or am i fine with the engine i have??

yes you have a 127 hp vtec sohc engine. You can swap it for a dohc. b16,b18,h22,k20,b20,there are plenty of them to choose from. It all depends on what you are looking for. More hp and tq. My opinion SOHC TURBO if you are looking for more power. Just dont run more than 6-8lbs of boost or you will blow the engine. Its very expensive to do the DOHC swap, AXLES,SHIFT LINKAGE,TRANNY, ETC.
