what happens if your engine gets over heated in the summer?Will smoke come out?When does smoke come out of the engine?Will the car still start if the engine is over ehated?How do you fix it?How long does it take?Or how long do you have to wait for the egine to cool down?How does an engine get over heated?

LET THE ENGIN COOL FOR 15 MIN AND IT WILL MAKE HEAT WAVES AND IF THE TEMP GETS CLOSE TO THE RED TURN IT OF

Check the air flow through the radiator , see if the electrical cooling fan is working , see if the coolant flow is not restricted , check your thermostat .

depending on how long its overheated it could cause serious damage. from a broken head gasket to a warped head to fried bearings. smoke could come out if the reason for over heating is a coolant leak. an engine over heats when there's no coolant, a bad thermostat reduces flow, if there's a leak and the system cant pressurize ect
