I got the P0505 code. it's ideal air control vale, but let me know how can I be 100% sure that the valve is faulty.the new one cost a lot, so is there any other problems can cause this code. thanks alot

try cleaning the area around the IAC valve (you may need to unbolt it) with an intake or carb cleaner there is instructions to check the electronic parts with a volt meter but usually unless it is not working at all it usually starts wth a carbon buildup around the valve

Possible Cause IAC valve mechanical malfunction Throttle body clogged port, improper adjustment Intake manifold gasket leakage Intake air hose loose leakage Vacuum leak ECT sensor incorrect outputi would personaly because i don't think you have a scan tool and the proper tools go to a garage and ask them if they have a scan tool and can check it for you
