why does my clutch pedal get stuck when i press down on it?
I have a 1990 Honda Accord, and recently my clutch fluid was empty so I added some more. Now after driving for a few miles I notice that the clutch gets stuck down on the floor, so I would have to pull it back up in order to shift gears. I also notice the clutch master cylinder is low on fluid as well, so now I have added more fluid to it at least 4 times within the last 3 days. What could be wrong with my clutch system?

Pretty obvious, its got a hydraulic fluid leak in it.Either the master cylinder, or the slave cylinder have gone leaky. Check the master first, you'll see fluid drips on the actuator rod and/or carpeting near the pedal, or on the firewall side.Gotta either rebuild/replace the cylinders.

your slave cylinder is leaking fluid. It might have a bad O-ring. Or the line feeding it might have a hole. Also did you pull out the boot and fill then pop the boot back to its original starting size.

both people above me could be correct. what i would say to do at this point in time the car is 18years old (bf has one) and sooner than later you are going to be replacing both the slave and master cylinders would be depending on where you go is about 180 dollars ...so while you could spend your time tinkering around to figure it out you could same your self some time and some headaches by just getting it over with..good luck
