the 4cylinder overall. The VCM only kicks on on the highway and kicks off if you go up a hill or pass someone.. its an easy answer... Id rather use 4 cylinders burning fuel than 6... another easy answer... more HP uses more fuel.

from what ive seen in a year or so of selling cars....the less cylinders the more they usually depreciate in value...however the less cylinders..the better the gas mileage...so you have 2 options...spend the money on gas now and get a car that wont depreciate as bad...or get a car that will depreciate so bad it will make your head spend but have a lower monthly payment and better gas mileage

if your worried about your money think about where u live right now and how much gas is....if u buy the accord ex with VCM which controlls the cylinders and also control how much gas u waste i think it'll be a much sweeter deal...lose to gain situation? i rather control the gas i want my car to use instead of buying a accord ex 4 cylinder and always have to pump in the same amount of gas and the same amount of money into the car without my say or control...

The 4 cylinder. Especially when you factor in the huge "economy" of it's much cheaper intial purchase price. Who cares about resale value. Hondas in general have the best resale values period. If it were me I would buy a slightly used 4 cylinder. Save the depreciation and the gas.
