There is a small leak and I need to block it. I need to drain the fluid from the radiator to replace it with the new anti-freeze and the stuff that blocks the leak. How do I drain it? Do I have to take off the protective shield from the undercarriage to get to it? I don't see the drain.

Using stop leak can cause other problems like damaged thermostats and blocked heater cores. If the leak is small I'd keep adding coolant until you get the money to fix the leak correctly. There is a draincock in the bottom corner of the radiator. Sometimes you do have to remove the shield to get to it.

why not fix the leak much more smart..... ok most car or truck have a drain at the bottom of the radiator open the hood or look under it its not on the bottom but at the bottom either left or right side will be little tabs or wing looking some are plastic some are brass/copper
