Your radio has a code that came with the car and needs to be reprogrammed. Check your paperwork from when you bought the car and see if there is a card about the size of a credit card that has the radio information on it. You will need to re-program the information from that card. Your owners manual or a seperate pamphlet should have information on how to do it. If all else fails, you will have to go back to the dealer for advice.

if you have input the wrong radio code in there more than ten times, the radio will shut itself off. instead of going to the dealership, you can pull the radio fuse out (located under the hood) wait about ten minutes, then put it back in. and then enter the correct radio code.
