it does take too much gas maybe 35 to fill it up im guessing. look in ur owners manual if it came with one.hondas are built to last so im sure it will be fine after a couple hundred miles just change the oil every 3000 miles.

The Honda Accord has a 17.1 gallon tank. The gas light normally comes on with around 2 gallons left. At around $3 a gallon it normally takes $40-$45 to fill it up. As for the transmission question it is really hit or miss. There are some autos I know of with some problems but I also know that they didnt take care of them. (V6 more prone to tranny issues) I suggest you have the transmission fluid changed and flushed soon and then have it changed every 20-30 thousand miles. This will help prolong the life of your transmission. There is a 1999 V6 Accord that comes into the shop and has his fluid changed every 20k miles and it now has 230k miles total and still running great.
