Default When will Honda come out with new Element body style?

I'm looking at buying an Element for its functionality, and noticed that this model was released in 2003. Honda usually overhauls its models every 4 years and being 2008 already, its been 5 years. Anyone know if a new body style is coming out, and if so when? Thanks!

I haven't heard any news or seen any new concepts for the Element recently. Edmunds' Inside Line section doesn't show anything of note regarding a new body style. The Element did receive a minor facelift for 2008.

I had a 2004, and now I have a 2007. They are almost exactly the same. I really don't think they plan to change anything. They are great vehicles though, I have to say. My 2004 saved my life in a bad rollover, and that's why I have a new 2007. I recommend them. Part of their appeal is their unique look, so I don't think they will ever change too much.

Rumor that the Crossroad will be the new Element is just a rumor. If anything, it may be an addition to the Honda line of vehicles sold in the US. It's more likely that it will just be a crossover SUV for the Japanese market. The current Element is built in Ohio. The Crossroad is built in Japan.According to AutoWeek, Honda won't import the Crossroad to North America, because it's similar to other Honda vehicles in many respects. Honda's crossover SUV lineup in the United States and Canada already has the smaller Element, the mid-priced CR-V and the larger Pilot and all three models are made in North America.A new Element probably won't appear until 2010.
