to get my engine in tranny readdy for a turbo. In for the turbokit in somebody to install it. My cars a civic ex

single cam only needs one turbo two turbos would be too much and you will need to change your cam, valves,etc(complete do) with one turbo you need the cpu reprogramed a new set of headers, reroute your exhaust, you need a cooling kit(preferably an intercooler) you are looking at 4g's to 5g's completed including parts labour and the seting up.

i've done a turbo ex once before about 3 or 4 years ago. pretty much to get the 1.6 sohc motor ready for turbo is pretty pricey. to just get the motor ready for a turbo you have to pretty much redo the entire motor to be on the safe side. thats new cam, pistons, headers, ecu, pullies, ect. and maybe a new tranny but i didnt buy a new one. to just get the motor ready for turbo i spent about if i remember about 2700. the turbo alone if you want a whole kit can cost you about another 1 - 3k depending on the type and brand. to be honest i wouldnt recommend boosting a civic ex since their not really capable of turbo and my motor blew shortly after this also. not saying you shouldnt do it because i have seen many people with this kind of set up but you do have a higher chance of the motor dieing because theres only one cam pullie ect. to run the motor. i say your better off doing a swap but if this is what you really want to do this is all i have to say since i have did this once a few years back.Good Luck! ^^
