I have this problem with my 93 GSR Civic Si hatch. When I drive the car at normal speeds, it handles beautiful. When I accelerate and go fast and then slow down to drive at normal speed, it chockes like a mother and when I stop at red lights and then try to go, it chokes even more to the point of almost turning off...it goes away after a little until I floor it again! What the heck is going on??? Im lost.I placed a 2000 Acura Integra GSR motor, it was done proffesionaly. The car was running good, til one day the check engine light came on and then went away. Ever since that happened, it has been acting up like that. Changed spark plugs, gas filters, air filters, spark plug wires etc and no luck. I use fuel injectors cleaner and only premium gas. I went to different mechanics and they all gave me different answers. I will probably have to go to a Honda dealer or expecialist, but they will charge me an arm and a leg for probably just a little simple job!

Have you changed anything. If you have not then start with, is it gas or electrical. Is the fuel filter clean is the pump up to pressure. Are the injectors clean. Now to the plugs, wires, still a problem check the timing. If all is bang on I would look for a vacuum leak. The last thing is your module/ whatever runs your advance.

AhhHahA! Check out Mr Nice Guy. Faaaggggottt thinks hes hot shhit. Youre in the wrong spot tryin to clown dude we laugh at people like you. Rollin around in the Lexus that mommy bought for you, just mad cuz u still cant get no play. You aint heard? Nice guys finish last biotch! Whats pathetic is that you think your offending us. Virgin. Fukck outta here with that bullshitThings to consider- what ecu are you using/ have you chipped it? adjusted fuel mapping? what else is done to the motor? Cams/cam gears? Has your timing been altered. Sounds like a timing issue to me and/or needs to be tuned. I dont mean a tune up, but you know that. Check fuel pressure, maybe too lean. Dirty injectors. As for the fouled plug theory, it doesn't sound like youre misfiring so i dont think its that. Edit give more details on setup ill help you figure it out.
