I have a 1994 Honda Accord, and the key is stuck in the ignition. It turns and drives fine, but it was my only key, and the dealer says the car is too old to make a new one. Can anyone give me any advice?

I found a post in another forum that suggested the car did not know it was in park so it would not release the key. Here is that string...http://www.voy.com/8971/4/6805.htmlI hope this helps.j

Yes your car is to old and honda wont have your key on file. Move the steering wheel back and fourth while trying to turn the key. Also try this. There are two copper contacts that wear thin in the shifter column where the P (park) is located. This happens from old age and in cold weather. Before you take apart the column heat the area with a hair dryer. The copper conducts better. If that does help stick another key it the little slot next to the cloumn beside the PRN432 and shift it back and fourth while tugging on the ignition key.
