all will i need to? to put a whole gauge cluster in it what electrical components and stuff will i need to take out my whole cluster in it and put a lets say an 98 ex civic gauge cluster in it????

Your car is actually already wired for a tach. All you need is a cluster from a 96-00 Civic EX model. You remove the 2 screws on the top of your trim ring, pull it out, remove the 4 screws holding the cluster in, unplug the 2 plugs on the back, after removing the 2 plugs look on the same wire harness and you will see a third plug thats similiar looking and that is the "extra" plug you plug into the EX cluster. It really only takes about 15 minutes.
