Default Civic turbo issues?

I currently have a 00 civic with a k20a motor and was boosted at 15 psi. The car is being rebuilt from the ground up and when the car was finally finished it ran perfect. After about 2 weeks of testing and tuning the car some odd reason the boost gauge is all of a sudden saying its only at 5 psi? We dyno the car a few times to make sure its only the gauges but it wasnt and we cant seem to get it back up to 15 psi. Any ideas why the car dont wanna go to 15 psi? If someone can help me soon it be a big help because we want to get the car finished before the drag strip opens up.

Double check all cold pipes for leaks. Make sure the wastegate isn't opening early or stuck.

Leave some more info:What RPM was it previously reaching full boost, and what RPM is it reaching full five now? Is it reaching 5 psi where it was before, or is it reaching 5 psi where it used to reach 15?If it is reaching 5 psi at the same rpm as before, but then just topping at 5psi, I would check the wastegate and lines around it, that would sound almost exactly like a BOV issue. If it is reaching max boost of 5psi where it used to reach 15psi, then it sounds like an issue with the turbo. I'd check all the piping, intercooler, oil lines, etc etc.

it should be you waste gate but check your check valves on you VPC. if they are clogged or disconnected it might not boost
