If the whole family will be uing the car I would say the Civic will be better for you because of the increase in room and the added fuel economy. The ft is a great city car epecially if you are looking to have just one or 2 people in it. One other thing to keep in mind is the fit is being redone sometime this year or next and the current body although new to the U.S. is actually an old car Globally so it does not have the most up to date technology in the car. As far as price the Fit is cheaper but the Civic holds its value extremely well. You can buy a cheaper car and you can get rebates and big discounts but the Honda is a better choice when you compare everything.
