Anyone fitted a Remote Engine Starter to a Honda Civic 8th Generation?
can it be fitted?

Honda makes one for it. you can buy an original Honda part and have it installed. it only works on automatics for obvious reasons. also, its impossible to unlock the doors while the engine is running in remote start mode. you must stop the engine, unlock the car, and then start it again normally. this is to prevent theft. for manual transmission or to get rid of the unlock issue, you need to go aftermarket. i would reccomend computstar or DEI.

You can purchase the one Honda makes for the car, but only if you have an automatic, or you can buy an aftermarket remote start. Quite a few people in a couple of clubs I hang out with have remote starts in the thier 8th gens. Id say just go to your local auto security shop, and ask them what they can do for you.
