O.K. guys I need some real help here. I have a 2000 accord ex 4cyl that is burning oil like its water. You can actually run your finger in the exhaust and it comes out wet with oil. I took it in at 96,000 miles to the dealer and they had me do several consumption tests and said that it was within limits (of course they would) I then took it to a local garage and they did the wet dry test and several other tests and said that 3 out of 4 cyls were out of specs, I then took it back to the dealer and they performed same tests and said all cyls were within specs. To make a long story short my warranty ran out and now they say that since they found no problem they aren't willing to help. So what I need to know is what are all of the reasons it could be burning about 2 quarts every thousand miles . I checked pcv thats fine. Now I have a obd code 1166 + 1167 that is 02 sensor, and it seems to like gas as much as oil. It is my concern that the oil consumption has now somehow ruind my sensors as well as possibly clogged my cat. What are your thoughts? And what do you think the cost would be if I need valve seals or rings. Help me PLEASE
