Default Does a 18 inch rim fit a 2001 civic?

Well first of all i had the stock(dounut) rim on and that is about 15 inch and i bought an 17 inch rim but those two seem like they had the same size because of the tire. So I'm just wondering if the 18 inch rim will fit my 2001 civic. i'm just afraid that the 18 inch might be kinda big and for the front it couldn't be able to make a full turn. If any knoe if it'll fit or not please let me know..thanks you

if you keep the tire circumference and width the same it wont make a difference. you can even go wider because those steel wheels are really thin.example:the stock tire is a 185/65-15. you can go to a 205/40-18.your first tire circumference is 76.9"the 18 is 76.8".thats barley a difference. you just need to make sure that the thickness is not to much. the original tire is 185mm thick, the 18 is 205mm thick, so thats about 3/4" of an inch thicker. that should not be a problem.

it matters if it goes on first of all, if your getting rims make sure the lug nut pattern matches. Your car will still be able to make turns, but if you live somewhere that doesn't snow much, or if you take your rims of in the winter like you should then i would recommend getting a low profile tire along with the rim.

Sometimes it depends on the width, but I think 17 inch is about the limit for that car. Check a website like www.rims-n-tires.com

yes you will be able to make full turns my friend has 19s on his and it still turns fine but you just have to make sure the bolt patern and off set are the same as your stock rims
