Default 89 Accord carburetor issues

Hello,

89 Accord carburetor, two new fuel filters, new fuel pump, new plugs...runs if its at 2000-3000 rpm, stalls and dies at idle. When I give it gas to accelerate it stumbles and kills off.

If I put my hand and a rag over carb air intake it idles fine! I do hear an air leak when it is finally idling normal, with its air cutoff by a rag.

Don't mind letting a mechanic fix it but there are so many possible issues and at $350+ a pop to go on an Easter egg hunt in an over vaccum hosed 89 accord is too pricey.

Thanks for the help.
