Default 2000 Odyssey EGR saga continues

miles = 108000 - I finally absolutely determined the EGR was bad. Replaced it and cleaned out the ports-removed manifold. Tube had been put in by dealer at 36000 miles.

Everything was fine for about 1500 miles, then 1491 was back and after a while 401 also.

The strange thing is after I reset it, it took a VERY long time for it to set a temp code and just as long to set a perm 1491 DTC - the 401 DTC took a LOT longer to appear. There are no other codes as there was the first time and the engine is still running smooth - it wasn't the first time.

Previously, the code would set within 20 miles of driving. I also had other codes of misfire etc.- LONG time means about 100 miles.

the code was set @ 56% load, 138F coolant, STFTB1=0%, LTFTB1=-2.3%, Manifold = 16.8inHG, RPM=1969, speed = 22mph, intake temp=50F, throttle pos=22.4%.

Previously the LT & ST fuel trims were varying >> +-20%, now they seem stable w/i +-10%

It almost seems like the feedback is just slightly off since it takes so long, but why would it be??
