I have a K&N on my bmw. Truth is, intakes are pretty much useless unless you chip your car. On the dyno, my car only gained 9hp at the redline. After having my chip reflashed, and the intake installed, I gained 26 hp, mostly in the lower to mid range RPMs. If you don't get your chip reflashed or modified, your paying $200 to hear a cool whistling sound.

to be honest the injen and aem are better intake systems then K&N but K&N has a better filter if you can get an AEM cold air intake and buy a K&N filter then you will be good and it is well worth what you pay for. that other guy wanted power but the intake doesnt help much with hp. its more to give your car more fuel efficient it does help alittle at most like 10-12 hp the reason he got more hp was when you reflash the computer it gives it a new fuel mapping system. the only bad thing about is it waste more gas then it should because its throwing more gas to then engine then it should. but AEM COLD AIR INTAKE with K&N FILTER and you will be good to go.

The K&N typhoon its good. It is also the easiest to install out of all the other ones. I have an 06 LX Civic with the K&N and it is really good. My friend has an Injen on his 07 and he had to remove the bumber to install it. Go for the K&N!
