My husband and I are considering a 2007 or 2008 Honda Fit....we would love to hear any positives and or negetavies about this car. No kids, just the two of us with our two black lab mixes. We travel a lot and would sometimes probably have another couple in the car with us... And does it really get that great gas milage? Thanks! Any info would be helpful

My best friend has a Honda fit. It is a great little car with supurb mileage. I think it's about 5.9L per 100km average. He used to own a ford xr8 which did apx 17L per 100km. Good build quality as well. It definately feels larger inside than you would expect. I must admit, I thought it was a little girly at first but have come to really like it. Give the stereo a go as well it works very well. no mp3 though. I would get the top of the range honda fit because it is allot nicer to drive with the luxury touches. Being a honda, you will get the extra back at trade in as long as you dont mod it and have a full service history. I just bought a honda civic vtil and am stoked with it. Those small corner windows on the fit and civic are the ultimate for holding a Satnav as well. It looks really good because it's out of the way. I use a new navman because the brackets are nice and small. Peace and take care on the roads

I own a 2007 Honda Fit Sport Automatic. First off, let me say that I am 6'5", 250 lbs. and fit just fine in my Fit, no pun intended.. It has almost the same leg room as my '04 Camry did. The only problem is the back seats can be a bit cramped. These cars are the ultimate go-kart ride, and roll into turns better than any car I've ever owned. They are just plain fun to drive. Gas mileage is still suspect, since I haven't even gone through a full tank of gas yet, I just got the car last week. But I am sure it is somewhere in the low 30's with a mix of city and highway. Depending on your sizes, that would determine your comfort level in it, but my girlfriend and I fit just great inside with plenty of room. Hope that's helpful!
