Your most "user friendly" option would be to go with a 92-95 civic hatchback. Shoot for finding a 94 or 95 motor, this way both the vehicle and motor swap will be compliant with OBD1. By going this route you are presented with a WORLD of opportunity and potential. This setup is hands down the most popular in the world of Honda tuning, therefore availability of aftermarket parts(or lack thereof) will never be an issue. Though the CRX weighs about 300-400 lbs less than the HB depending on model, the "cons" of Option:CRX would include: converting the OBD0 vehicle to OBD1 just brings with it a lot of headaches. Wiring harness needs modification, and i believe the fuel system as well... all due to emission laws changing. Much fewer choices as far as parts availability for the crx, plus its just an older car, making it harder to find one in good shape. I'll leave it at that, you should research this topic a little more on your own and make your own educated decisions.. Good luck with your project Dude!
