Thieves have their way around security alarm systems. Some know how to drain your battery which make your alarm systems useless thus bypassing your alarm system connections. While others may know how to intercept your alarm frequency, car alarms go off all the time. Many of which are often false alarms that people within the area learn to just ignore them.A GPS tracker would be great, but those can be expensive. If you're on a tight budget, you should consider buying a security lock instead. Reliable ones that lock your pedals. And/or installing a well-hidden kill switch that disables the engine and discourages thieves from having to troubleshoot your car problems. My car had been stolen twice so I learned the hard way ;-)Good luck!
